EO Ultrasonic diffusers vs oil burners
Comments (1)This thread has been up since May, so I am going to assume that no one here uses that product. I don't. I sometimes use essential oils in my bath, or apply to skin as a perfume, or put it on a piece of tissue paper and let it evaporate....See MoreTo oil or not to oil? That is the question
Comments (10)The pre-filter keeps the big sticks and stuff out of the large, inner filter, which costs more than the average home owner wants to spend to keep his machine clean in the engine department! Upon removal of the filter housing:"Oh, my gosh--what is that dirty thing in there? I'll have to brush it off!" The prefilter gets slapped on the owners thigh, the big inner filter gets a wipe with a rag, and it stays until the engine chokes out its last breath of exhaust! Comments (3)I have decided to change the topic of this thread a bit. I now seek to know which leptomorph bamboos are the least aggressive spreaders. The pachymorph spreading types usually either seem to have trouble surviving or recovering from the summer or they are a tropical species which would either not survive the winter or would be almost killed each year. The Thamnocalamus tessellatus would not be damaged by the cold where I live however. I could use containment methods such as mowing however if the bamboo is less aggressive than the vast majority or leptomorph types then it would perhaps need only mowing for containment. I have heard that Pleioblastus Simonii does not spread aggressively (I am not sure exactly how that compares to the aggresive spreaders though). It has many interesting characteristics....See MoreHelp! Diffuser oil ruined furniture finish
Comments (12)Reed diffuser solution was recently spilled onto the granite of my newly painted and installed vanity. I wiped it up immediately but did not realize some had run down the front of the vanity and into the drawer. We later opened the drawer and realized it had very badly bubbled and damaged the paint on the front of the drawer, the upper edge of the drawer and inside the drawer. It will have to be completely repainted. We're sick about it. Just to make sure the problem was not caused by defective paint, my husband poured the solution on an unrelated piece of wood, with an entirely different finish. it bubbled up and destroyed that finish also. I agree with one of the other comments. These products should absolutely come with warnings!!...See Moreravencajun Zone 8b TX
