Sarcococca confusa carnage

Title says it all. I planted the saplings in the ground. And this was the result.

I took them out of the ground and put them in potting mix today and gave it copious amount of flushing with sea weed solution. But I do not have good feelings about these guys frankly.

So what I did?

I followed my usual regimen of planting something in ground.

1 - Filling the hole to brim with Clay breaker solution.

2. Once the water is gone then a layer of bone meal. This to help rooting.

3. Then a mix of potting soil, compost and Controlled Release Fertilizer.

4. Some good watering.

I know I have done one of the steps wrong. Maybe I added too much of CRLF. But then should it make a difference because anyways it is slow release.

Funny thing is that not all the saplings got effected. Some of them are pulling through.

If your eagle can see signs of distress then let me know. I will pull them out asap and put them in therapy of sea weed solution.
