Yes, there are, e.g. the dark-colored ones like some black ones, black absolute, tan brown, etc. I specifically wrote low instead of o absorbency rate because I do not expect the chosen granites to be absolutely dense. I choose granite because I love its natural characteristics and look. The annual resealing work is also in plan. Thank you for your recommendation on quarz. But I can never like the look of quartz composite like Silesstone or Ceasarstone because I can clearly the artificial resin layer on its top, and it just does not look natural enough for me. You tried the store where you found it originally? If not, then I would see if they still have it. 1. Ask if they offer coupons or have sales 2. If there isn't a lot of yardage on the roll, ask if they will Discount if you take the remaining yardage. Stores want to move inventory. A customer standing right there willing to buy might be all it takes to make magic happen. If you are working with a sales associate, ask them to inquire with the manager about a discount. The worst they can say is no and then they are out of a sale and an opportunity to move that fabric. See if they have a webpage, sign up for notices check to see if they place it on clearance. Good to hear about that - I was also concerned about May. I lived in Houston for four years, and then visited often after I left. I was in a flood there June 15, 1976, which was not a tropical storm or hurricane, but it rained 8" from 2 PM to 4 PM and rained a total of 13" that day. The friend I was visiting had 2" of water in his apartment, the bathtub filled up from the drain with sewage, and the toilet did not flush at all. Plus there was three feet of water in the streets by 5 PM, and people were out in the boats and surfboards. The current flood is probably twice as bad as that one or worse. Fortunately, I was able to leave town the next day, as that was just a one day storm. Houston is very flat, and there is insufficient drainage, making it very slow for waters to go down. There was another flood in 1979 that dumped 43" of rain in one day in a nearby town. It is common to have water flood the streets for one day in Houston, but it is another matter altogether to have it last for several days. I don't know what people are doing for toilets. After an earthquake, I can dig a latrine, but that's not possible in a flood.

grrrr..... American carpet Wholesalers is 1.07 sq ft and $175 shipping!!!!! Called local store, 1.69 sq ft. Went in today order, transaction is complete and THEN the salesperson says oops - I forgot to add $90 shipping. Huh? Never mentioned a shipping fee when I called for a price the day before or today when she verified price while I stood there before I ordered. Told her to tear it up I was so annoyed. So tomato to-mahto price wise and I have to decide if I really want it.
