Help with Brizo and Restoration Hardware for Bath
Comments (1)I got the old fashioned tub filler with handheld from RH and LOVE it. I was also concerned the roman tub fillers didn't come with the handheld and didn't thnk to order it separately from NB. We have had a few issues with missing parts (I think my contractor's guys misplaced) and RH had them sent right away. They have been wonderful with the customer svc....See MoreHas anyone used restoration hardware faucets?
Comments (14)We recently renovated our home and installed all RH Sutton shower hardware. We have three shower faucets, and all three have broken (one of them has broken twice). The valve that controls the hot & cold water flow is plastic and easily breaks with very little torque from the handle (my late-60s arthritic mother-in-law broke one of them), which then means you have to shut off the water to the house, remove the face plate and turn off the water to the faucet directly, and then spend a week without using that shower before you reinstall a replace ment valve -- which in my experience will last 6 months or so before it breaks and must be replaced again. Reading through these reviews, it sounds like this is a pretty common issue. I will be avoiding RH plumbing products in the future....See MoreDo I want aerators in my faucets?
Comments (5)Not only do aerators reduce water usage, they also limit splashing. Sink faucets in particular will splash a lot more if the water from the faucet isn't aerated, which can create an annoying mess every time you use it. As far as running the water the whole time that one is shaving (or doing most anything at the sink), that's just a matter of being conscious of it. Single handle faucets are much easier for this, just flip off the faucet with one hand, and when you turn it back on you can put the handle in about the same place it was before. For our kitchen faucet, the aerator has an on/off lever that is very cool. You just flip it up when you're washing/rinsing dishes and not using the water, and then when you need it again, flip the lever down and it's the right temperature and volume. Very nice. -Roger...See MoreNeed 55" Double Vanity in Design of Restoration Hardware Hudson Vanity
Comments (15)Hi Patty, thanks for your comment! After much research, I think I’m going to buy a wooden vanity with a stone top. I found a picture of the floor tile in a bathroom with a wood vanity and I like it, so now I’m going to try to source something similar. Posting a pic of the bathroom and of a vanity I found that I may buy but worried the walnut (and possible design) won’t look right against the tile. Would love your thoughts as well as anyone else’s! Thanks!...See Morenancyaustin
