Alien Impressions

Fred and Carmelita got ornaments from their groomer. Upon closer inspection, I think that each one has their own hair in it. I like the idea but am a little grossed out by it and thinking of replacing it with something less icky. Any thoughts on this?

Chances are pretty good the hair was collected AFTER their bath, so it doesn't seem 'icky' to me at all. No different than saving a lock from a little boy's first hair cut, etc. But to each their own.

Murraysmom, I still have a brush full of hair from our American Eskimo, it's my little remembrance of Casper. Maybe one day I'll be ready to let it go, but haven't gotten there yet.

PKponder, yes, of course you can use it. And as an aside, DH pronounced it a great puzzle to do. Not nearly as easy as it looks. Pieces shaped so alike that it was easy to get pieces in the wrong place, not realizing it till you had placed many, many pieces around the area, and suddenly nothing fits.

Taken at a local farmer's market, I'm going to hang this in my kitchen along with a few other food related photos. I've always thought it would make a good jigsaw puzzle.

Grandson will be enjoying his first Christmas far away from us.

I imagine you will miss him more than ever at Christmas, Glenda. It's bitter sweet when they grow up and start leading their own lives. Hopefully, you'll be able to see him soon.
