Pepperomia Obtusifolia wilting -- Please help!

I got this plant recently, maybe a few months ago, and it was fine, but now it's gotten all droopy. I tried using sticks to keep it standing but it won't fix the problem.

This is how it looks now. All the talling stocks have wilting and leaves that were higher up are curling/becoming soft, while leaves at the bottom are still hard and perky.

This is the plant the day I bought it. It was fine and them for recently it wilted. I had not moved it. Everything told me dry roots, so I poked holed in the hard soil and the soil is now nice and fluffy, but the plant still hasn't revived. I water it once a week along with my succulents, letting the soil try between waterings.
