Well mine is actually a mix of extra tiles I ordered for the kitchen backsplash (long story short...they're the pieces that I should have ordered bullnose) and they're too expensive to just let sit in a box, so I thought I'd do a backsplash on the desk to remind me how stupid I was for the rest of my life LOL But since they're not bullnose (they're handmade tiles) I needed an edge for them, and didn't want to spend a fortune so I purchased some really pretty little glass tiles to go on the top and near the bottom two little tiles deep. But frankly, that's hand made tile AND glass tile LOL Bill and Mongo have made me so danged tile crazy (in a good way) that it sounded like a fun project for the future...but maybe not heh heh As I typed this I got a new email with my tile install bid...CHOKE ummm $17,900....Ouch. Maybe I can tackle this little job LOL

I was able to get to the tile store and the first tile I posted above can be made with different materials that will make it appropriate for a shower. The original one has antique mirrors in the leaves and that's why it's not suitable. I think I might get it with mother of pearl in place of the mirrors. I plan to only use it on one wall and as a backsplash trim around the tub so although it's pricey it won't break the bank. I hope.

I am looking for a large porcelain tile, 12 or 18" square, corners are cut off, with small matching color square insets. Country Floors makes something like this but I need a warm brown color. I chose the Kohler Whitehaven sink in the 32-33" width with the tall apron. It's deep and plenty big for a little wash basin on one side. I also have a roll out dryer rack that sit across the top when I want to dry dishes. I love it! While I chose the seasalt color, and it IS beautiful (looks like suspended tapioca) honestly, it doesn't show up as much as I thought it would and I would just go with white if I had to do it over again.
