Aha, my source for Ste. Colombe appears. LOL Gary, I'm doing my darndest to get the newer described varieties out there and L knows that as well. I send the best of what I grow each year to several seed sites where I know the owners and trust them and I also list them in the SSE YEarbook. There are quite a few seed site owners who get their starts from the YEarbook so that's another way that new varieties get out there. And I also distribute them in that free seed offer that I make elsewhere. No, I didn't think Tania would have Ste. Colombe described yet. I know she's behind on some recent SSE Yearbook varieties as well as scanning seed sites to post where she indicates seed sources. And yes, Ste. Colombe is a great variety. And I see by looking in my notebook near me that this past Spring I sent Ste. Colombe to two SSE members who are very good friends who have huge listings as well as to Glenn at Sandhill and didn't have enough seeds to send elsewhere b'c I had few seeds and they went to those SSE members who requested them from my listing. I didn't have enough seeds to offer in my seed offer. But I normally send to Sandhill, Gleckler's, sometimes to Mike at Victory Seeds but he's way behind on trialing as it is, sometimes to Marianne Jones and usually to Linda at Tomato Growers Supply but this past Spring when we talked she said she too was very behind on trialing and had only trialed one variety from the year before, that was Orange Minsk, which she loved so I know that one will appear in a year or two and is already available at other sites. So I won't be sending anything to her until later this Fall. As it is, the seed production for ALL of my varieties is now done by others, actually four folks this year, bless them, and seed production for Ste. Columbe is being done in KY and I haven't had any feedback lately. All the others are being done by 3 folks in NC. So never fear, I'll distribute stuff as fast as I can and have been doing so. The fact is that I get more feedback from my seed offer than I do from SSE members who get seeds from me so in a week or two I'll be putting up a feedback thread elsewhere to see how some of the new varieties did for those folks. Yes, L, you get Meme Beauce, but you have to remind me and if you don't have enough Rose d'Eauze seeds let me know as well. But Gary was able to germinate his. Full adhesion in 7 days really means that the primer will be adhered better after full cure than before. The more cured the primer is, the better its grip will be on the substrate. It doesn't mean that you have to wait 7 days to topcoat. You can topcoat when the primer is dry to the touch, usually under 4 hours. A latex primer like Zinnser 123 will not block out all stains. Stains that bleed through the latex primers you will need to use BIN or Kilz or some other kind of oil based primer to kill. The primer globbing up could be due to any number of reasons. Remember that when working outside, too much wind and direct sunlight could cause the paint to dry too fast so that it will glob up and pull.

PVC trimboards are not cheap. Like Todd, I'm somewhat confused about the specifics of exactly what they will replace. Typically the sill nose and brickmold are the pieces that rot. "sill and bullnose" is not typical lingo, so not quite sure what that all includes, and that will determine the fairness of that price. Based on the $600 window price point though, they sound like a fair company. Regarding the cladding, that is another option. It would still necessitate replacement of the rotted stuff however. You don't want to simply cap over rotted wood. I'd also mention that many companies won't offer painting services. It sounds though like you are electing to do that diy to save the $75 per?

Bull - Tony DiNozzo playing undercover on another show. I do not like Dr. Phil, but that aside, I think it was a mistake to have NCIS as the lead-in since Micheal Weatherly played the Tony role for so many years - and it was just too soon. I also found the use of the word "boss" not funny (I know that others did). Designated Survivor - I will watch this show again. Notorious - 5 minutes was enough. The Blacklist - well I watch it for James Spader and Mr. Kaplan. I can't stand Elizabeth and I am not alone. We both gave up on How to Get Away with Murder at the beginning of the second season. I watched the remake of MacGuyver last night - I think that the actor playing the lead is wrong for the role. Too young (and thin) with too much of a smirk. I think there could have been better casting. We do not watch any of the fake reality shows or today's versions of comedies. But I have no issue with those that do, I just wish that there was more quality programming for us that are older and have seen much higher quality TV (as bad as some of it may have seemed back in the day, it is looking pretty good now). I hate remakes - except for the movie version of The Thomas Crown Affair with Pierce Brosnan. I liked it better than the original with Steve McQueen. It might have someone to do with the era in which the original was made - something about the filming style.
