Comments (51)Interesting, I just ordered a red (they don't specify what kind) from Logees and they told me it may or may not color up depending on growing conditions. People have suggested it may be similar to blood oranges requiring chilling hours but I guess I will find out with experimentation. I hope mine will look half as good as yours some day. My green AFL just got super dried out during a heat wave we had which I was on bed rest and all of its leaves are crispy, I am hopeful it will make a recovery....See MoreFinger lime
Comments (8)I wonder too, I was hoping for the pearls but a blood lime would be neat too. Your totally right and the pictures of the blood limes look just like it. I did notice its not called a finger lime anymore but its description makes it sound like one. "the Australian Red Lime produces burgundy-red, 2” long fruit that have tiny juice vesicles inside. The flavorful juice vesicles pop in your mouth or are used in salads or drinks to provide a zesty lime taste."The pop in your mouth part is what stands out to me as being like the pearls of the finger lime. I wish it was more clear. I can't wait to see how others turn out since I don't have any fruit on mine yet....See MoreKen "Fruity Paws" (N-Va 7a)
