HAVE: For Trade
Comments (4)Hi, We have a trade going on my "I've been digging post" I'm at my aunt's computer right now so I don't have access to my computer and all of my lists and stuff, but I jsut looked at your wish list here and I can offer a few more things that you might be interested in, in exchange for some of your hucheras and day lilies. Dutchman's breeches, difficult to find this time of year, but I have tons of it so if I dig around under the leaves I could probably find a few nice clumps. If you want a large quantity of this lmk and I'll see how much I can find maybe for some different fans. I have sent out whole boxes of this in the past for the right trade. TB iris I have tons of different ones and can send pictures. I'll send you the names when I get home. I think my wide brim hosta may be big enough to divide I'll check when I get home. Thanks, Catrina...See MoreOT : Cockatiel (bird)
Comments (35)I have nightmares about birds. ha ha. When the kids were young they wanted a talking bird so bad. After wearing our resistance down we purchased a Cherry Headed Conure. We were assured this bird would talk and have a very large vocabulary if someome worked with him. So...off we went with this beautiful bird. Unfortunately, he fell in love with me and was rather agressive towards others. When the kids brought over friends if the bird was out of the cage the bird would jump at them and bite on to their noses. It was rather scary. I would not let anyone hold him anymore as I was worried he might go for their eyes. His cage was up in our living room. Often times the kids would be downstairs and when I finished making supper my son would have his headphones on. So I would yell downstairs fairly loud...Dusteeeennnn. Well, that intelligent little bird learned that whenever I yelled at the top of my lungs for Dusten someone would come running up the stairs. Before long, that bird would TRIPLE my volume and yell in a voice eerily similar to mine DUUUUSSSTTTEEENNN. When my son would come up the stairs the bird would literally laugh in this evil sounding cackle..ehhh eh eh eh. OMG This went on day and night. I could cover his cage and he would keep YELLING DUSTEEENNNN and then cackle his evil sounding laugh. We could not take it anymore, our house became so stressful that we had to get rid of the bird. I often wonder if the person who took him has the same problems ha ha ha. But I was too scared to call them for fear they would bring that dawg gone bird back. ha ha ~Tj~...See MoreWANTED: Spring Swap/Barbecue London/Springbank Park
Comments (150)Hi Heather, I didn't mean to make you feel that I was talking directly to you and making you feel obligated to consider this particular plant. :)After all, you are right, and everyone has different ideas about what is special and you may not think the plectranthus 'mona lavender' is as great as I do.;-) I just reread it and it does sound like I was targeting you, so I hope you don't feel uncomfortable and like you have to find something to trade for the plant. The first part about the russian sage was for you. The next part about the 'special trade' was just thrown out there for anyone who might know the plant and want it as much as I did, or see the plant on the link and then decide that they would like it. I guess I rambled on about it(then and now-ha ha) because I had mixed feelings about letting any part of it go after looking for it for so long, but would if someone let me know that they really wanted it and/or had been looking for it for a while like I had been. I will leave it that if you want the plant, just please forget what I said in the original post and treat it like any other offer, and forgive my ramblings....If you don't want the plant that is okay too. It will still be on my trade list. I must have been too tired to post, and should have been in bed. LOL! gg...See MoreWhat Vines Willl You be Growing This Year?????

You probably know that it has purple flowers,is related to the tomato, and is in the nightshade family. My seeds are old, but may still germinate. I've had a love afair with JMG's, and it seems I've not had room for anything else. Vines are so charming, aren't they? :) Arum...See Moreingrid_vc so. CA zone 9
