We just had wood flooring put in last spring and I chose the coffee stain. I love it so much that it isn't even healthy! I will try to post a picture for you tomorrow. We chose rift and quartersawn white oak, and it is gorgeous. I usually find something to be critical about when I buy/install something in my house, but this time I have no regrets AT ALL. We had the flooring company do the water pop to show the grain more, and it's perfect. And believe me, I never, ever say anything is perfect. :) Victoria

@RM Raymond looks beautiful!!! i am also sampling in duraseal product. thank you for posting several photos. i am going to try it alone cause i have tried it with rustic beige. i have also tried medium brown with rustic and weathered and classic gray. medium brown seems overall too reddish. golden brown may be a good fit to give enough coverage and keep that red orange pink away and still keep it light.

I'd pick top left if I had a space that could go that dark-but I have a house of neutral white walls and lots of cool tones. Do you have an end result inspiration pic to help guide your cool vs warm tone? Sort of odd to pick one in isolation not knowing what other choices will happen in the space.

About to refinish our red oak floors and im having such a hard time deciding! ive been leaning towards aged barrel. it is beautiful in the above pics, but I’m hopinh it isnt too dark. my stair treads are black, and i want a good contrast. the wood is also in the kitchen and kitchen will be all white. opinions, please please!
