Thanks for the reminder.

Thank you. I'm looking forward to an hours sleeping in, and not getting up to it quite so dark in the morning. I am not looking forward to cooking dinner and eating it in the dark ;0)

Thanks. I thought you were going to remind us to vote, as if we could forget! Lol.....

Yes, it will be nice to have that extra hour of sleep but getting dark earlier - not so much! About the election - although I'm in Canada, there is intense interest to see what the voting results will be. Our historical society had booked a room for November 8 for a presentation I was giving, but quickly re-scheduled when we realized that folks will be glued to their sets all night on that date!

Huh?

LOL OJ. Yep, leave it to the government to try and pull the wool over everyone's eyes.

Joyful, I like that analogy!

I already did all my clocks. I'd be the first to forget if I didn't do it early.

I am so fed up with this voting thing, that is the LAST thing I would post about. I don't think either one should be in.

We changed ours - Ontario, Canada. Also note because strangely enough there are people who do not know - for those who have "smart meters" the electricity time of use rates changed on Nov. 1 - so many people think that they switched on Nov. 6.

Of course this means that between 5 - 7 p.m. when most people are cooking dinner the rates are at peak. Ontario's hydro rates are very high as it is.

Re the U.S. election, there is an Anxiety Threat on Previously.tv - a lot of people are stocking up on booze to get through it. As a Canadian I am worried. We are after all your neighbours and frankly I do not see a lot of difference between us.

My sister got to go to church twice today because she forgot. :) haha

Let's just leave the clock alone; DST should be done away with.

We looked around the house yesterday. Most of our clocks updated themselves.

Our home phones haven't changed yet.

It's easier to change the electronic clocks in spring, as one need only move the hour hand ahead by one.

But ... in the fall ... most of them need an adjustment of 23 hours.

Not so tough if one is enjoying a cuppa at the same time.

Or ... sitting on the can - but most of the clocks are not exactly easily portable.
