I keep meaning to switch my user name again... Ten years ago, I think I was already on GW--I suspect I came on slightly after Andie, because I think it was just about the time the GP started. I had an Internet connection of sorts in the early '90s--something called "Prodigy" that was pretty basic and didn't have much of a graphic interface. I switched to a Mac in '94 and started using the precursor to Netscape. I ventured onto GW when I had a question about black tomatoes. I chose my user name accordingly. Bigfoot was one of the first to answer my question, along with a Robin from Calif. Suzanne, Diana was the dark-haired daughter of a Nobel physicist. I saw her name in the paper not too long ago in a listing of area how-to classes (hers was mosaics). I'm in that group photo of Linda C's too, looking, unfortunately, rather better and younger than I do now. And, Linda C, I fear the martini drinker may have been me. Carolyn407, would you update us on how you are doing...? Not to be nosey, but woman always put whats going on but dont ofter follow up on how it turned out. It would be helpfull to know if you saw a Dr., and if everything turned out ok for you. Especially after what jtswife wrote.

Express Scripts is a prescription benefit processing company for employers. They do mail order for cost containment purposes. My employer uses Express Scripts and offers the mail order approach as an option (and encourages use by reducing co-payments). I choose to get my stuff from a retail pharmacy (one of the national chains) and the cost difference to me is just one extra month's co-pay for each item per quarter (three if using a retail pharmacy, two if using the mail order). The company behind the scenes doing the administration could be any one of the several in this business because it's mostly invisible to me and other covered individuals. Ultimately, the benefits, costs, formularies, etc., are what the employer chooses to provide and Express Scripts is just there to do the administration and processing. I'm sorry if the situation you're in leads to periodic problems. Other than the bureaucracy that you find in any insurance or benefit providing organization, and which is part of the cost control the ultimate payer is looking for, I haven't experienced them being any worse than others. Further to what mdln said, there are other companies in addition to Costco who provide some drugs in generic form at pretty low cost. If that applies to you, you might also look into seeing what Walmart or Walgreens could provide.

Sheila - I'm speechless!! Your gardens beautiful!! Here in fla the only way I can grow delphiniums is if I plant them while they're budded & watch them bloom before the summer rains kill them back. I want to pack up & move so bad! I feel I'm being called to do so to start my own flower farming business but I'm stuck here for a long time. My man runs his parents plating company an hour away & I have 4 boys that are now grounded here in this city. We moved 3 years back from st pete which is 2 1/2 hrs away so this is as far away from my home town as I get & sadly it's still in the state of Florida. I'm ready for real country w/real soil that's not full of root knot nematodes, high heat & humidity & summer rains that last a good 3 months non stop Astrantia is one of my favorite flowers & I just can't get them to grow here!! Roses are hard to grow but I manage. Thankyou so much for sharing your pics!!!!!! It made my heart smile!! I have mencopsis seed but I'm scared to try them after reading ab germinating them - yours are gorgeous!!! Sultry ur heirloom rose is beautiful! I just feel they're still over priced but your right they ALWAYS have the best quality roses!! So I guess if it's a rose I truly want - I don't mind paying a little extra but fortuniana grafted roses are the way to go if I'm planting in ground . Strawberry hill is a decent rose for Florida!! She will get some leaf spot but always recovers quickly. A stephanotis is heavenly in full bloom!!! They smell so yummy!! There's stem kits online u can buy to put diamonds, colored stones inside of them. They're for bridal bouquets- but I've bought the kits ( bc they have long "stems") to add stephanotis flowers to bouquets I made for friends & family. They're cheap & it's fun to do. I don't have my stephanotis vines anymore tho. After moving here ( 2 1/2 hrs north) a light frost killed my newly planted stephanotis vines & I never replaced them. I will someday.
