Comments (10)We have two Dell desktops. First one is a Dimension (3 yrs old, I suppose) with no problems. Funny thing is that when we ordered it, they also sent not one, but four, all-in-one printers, too. It was a nightmare to get them to take three back, which I insisted upon because I didn't want to end up paying for them somehow. Second is an Inspiron 531 that's one year old and was purchased at Walmart - works great, but we had one computer issue (bad power supply fan), and a heck of a lot of aggravation navigating their customer support, even while having all the necessary info, original box, etc, at hand. Dell replaced it, finally. I knew the precise problem but still got obstructed by their PC tracking system. They just couldn't recognize the PC, so I kept getting cut off after a long wait, live folks, etc. I had to keep calling back and trying...and giving them the model number was no use, they needed the right customer ID number. Turns out their info kept sayign walmart was the owner and they couldn't change it to make us the owner. 2) Also, I knew exactly what the problem was, but they don't take that for an answer and I had to keep going through online diagnostics so they could confirm it. Eventually they were even running Citrix from India to assess, wasting more time since I kept telling them the problem: bad power supply! Guess what the problem was? Yes, bad power supply. So they sent a guy with one and installed it a couple days later. I think it got resolved only because I knew something about the problem and lead them to the solution. That was a nightmare, but maybe that's what I get for buying it through Walmart. Buy direct if you use Dell....See MoreGood free program to clean my computer
Comments (36)First off lets get one thing perfectly clear I have NEVER claimed to be the ONLY person here HELPING, how absurd. I volunteer on numerous wonderful support/help forums with a multitude of absolutely wonderful knowledgeable people this one included. I never advise anyone to do or use something that I would not use myself and that will NOT change. And any time I see one recommended that I know has some problem I WILL with out doubt provide that info so that any person considering it will have full info to make an informed decision on that program themselves, with full knowledge. And I appreciate it when someone who knows something negative about a programs speaks up and provides that info, it is how we learn. IObit has been found guilty of several thefts of program material over the years this theft of malwarebytes is just one more. NOT the kind of people I want to entrust ANY ones pc to. Try reading the info provided about IOBit. I never mentioned you anywhere in my post, I simply referred to the program,(which I would have done no matter who posted about it, and have done in the past) no idea why on Earth you felt the need to slam me, but I am not the only one here you have done it to, it really does not surprise me. Done...See MoreReliable wireless mouse for Window Computer
Comments (27)Azmom, I agree with millworkman, most people writing reviews had bad experiences. I'm the exception, I'm the guy that also writes good reviews (I do write bad reviews too). I have nothing but good things to say about the Logitech Anywhere MX Mouse. There are also Hundreds of people on the Best Buy Website agreeing with me on this one! Darkfield Technology (which enables the mouse to work on 99% of the surfaces you might use, Glass, Mirrors, Paper, Clothing, Sheets, etc... ). Can use 1 AA Battery or 2 AA BatteriesSmooth Scrolling (the Mouse Wheel has Smooth Scrolling or you can set it to Click like a normal Mouse) Side to Side Scrolling Laser is Very Precise on it's movements Small Profile, easy to carry with you (comes with a Carrying Pouch) Place for the USB Dongle inside the Battery Compartment (so you don't loose it during transit) Unifying Receiver (can be used on up to 6 Logitech Devices with Unifying Technology) Large On/Off Switch on the bottom of the mouse (not the small On/Off Switch most mice have Programmable Buttons thru the Logitech Setpoint Software I'm sure there are more great things about this mouse, but I've provided a decent start for my list above. Yes, I have read that the Anywhere MX had a Left Click Problem, I've also seen a very simple fix for it on YouTube. I've never experienced this Left Click Problem in over 7-8 years of use on my First Anywhere MX Mouse. The Current Price on the Anywhere MX Mouse at Sam's Club $32.98. Sounds as if you're a Costco Member and not a Sam's Club Member. Here is one on Ebay (New) for $29.95 Logitech Anywhere MX Mouse...See More- 9 years ago
