I like the show "Seinfeld" where there were other comedians to bounce material off of. I've tried watching Comedians in cars getting coffee....did not think Jerry was funny at all.

I laugh at the show "Big Bang Theory". I just started watching it last year.

Amy Schumer....I really don't like her.

I don't like any of the so-called comedies on tv. The new ones are getting more and more stupid.

I loved Frasier! It was hilarious with lots of innuendos. I never got the humour in Seinfeld.

I find Ellen very funny........without one swear word. I can swear with the best of them, but I don't think inserting the 4-letter word in every sentence isn't funny at all. I went to Yuk-yuk's once and hated it.

I hadn't thought of Wanda Sykes. I used to see her on talk shows and she's hilarious.

sweet betsy you hit all the reasons I can. NOT. stand. Kathy Griffin. What does anyone see in her? I don't get it. Someone does, obviously. But I'm not that person.

I don't listen to much comedy anymore. I like Ellen and Jimmy Fallon.

I liked Robin Williams as an actor in some of his more uplifting roles, but never found him funny as a comedian. My dh loved George Carlin so we went to see him one time in Vegas. He was cynical and not funny. Even dh was disappointed. I find a lot of the comedians aren't that on the spot funny. They need the help of the team.

I saw George Carlin live as well. I can't remember if I liked him or not, so I guess he didn't leave that much of an impression on me.

The Wayans Brothers are all so funny that is such a talented family . I am enjoying the new TV show Lethal Weapon and always laugh .

I don't like mean insulting put down comics . I agree I do not find Kathy Griffin funny. Amy Schumer is not funny to me , the whole falling down thing was not funny.I loved Robin Williams he was so good at comedy roles I miss him . Going back to my childhood I loved Red Skeleton ! I couldn't wait to see his show .

I like Craig Ferguson he can make me laugh and I love when he makes himself laugh .

Don't like Drew Carrey I don't find him funny at all and not entertaining either .

I saw Jerry Seinfeld live and loved him... but thought his opening act was even funnier... can't remember the guy's name though.

Saw Jim Gaffigan as well and loved him... but don't care for his TVLand show.

Any comedian who has to throw the F word in to get a laugh isn't funny to me at all. It's amazing how audiences will roar over it though. :(

Do not like Rodney Dangerfield!!

Loved Steve Martin in his heyday; silly but funny. Don't know if he still does standup. Love Seinfeld and George Carlin. Not a fan of Adam Sandler or Will Ferrell.

I tend to not like stand-up comedians at all. At. All. (get my point? haha)

That said, yes, I like Steve Martin. I sometimes laugh at Paula Poundstone on the rare occasions when I'm listening to a radio show that she's on. As Jasdip said, I absolutely loved Frasier (and all of the characters). That wasn't stand-up. That was a sitcom. I still watch the reruns all the time, even though I can say their next sentences before they do!

And Ellen - well, she just makes me guffaw.

But stand-ups, as in a stand-up show? Nope, not much.

I liked the old time comedians, when they were funny and didn't think they had to be vulgar to get a laugh....These people today are disgusting.....

When I think of Red Skelton, Carol Burnett and Tim Conway, Foster Brooks......THOSE were comedians!!!!

I haven't had much experience, if any, with the ones mentioned earlier.

I liked Jack Benny - gentle, non-mean humour.

And Bob Hope ... but he could be mean at times.

Also Fred Allen ... and Allen's Alley.

A Canadian that I like currently is Mary Walsh ... and some others, but I can't remember their names.

Of course, I love the old comedians, except for Rickles. There was nothing funnier than the Carol Burnett show. Today...I don't like Amy Schumer, Eddie Murphy , Tracy Morgan, Jimmy Fallon. My favorites are David Letterman, Stephen Colbert, Ricky Gervais, Jimmy Kimmel, I find Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler supremely unfunny especially Sandler.

I dislike many of the ones mentioned above for their mean-spiritedness. But I love Jeff Dunham.

I saw and LOVED Galliger (spelling?), and I saw and totally disliked Lilly Tomlin. I wish, I had walked out on Lilly.

I don't know why it's impossible for people to "entertain" with out dropping the f-bomb in every other sentence. To me, that's a lack of creativity.

Many years ago, DH and I went to a show in Reno and saw Don Rickles. Now, of course I expected him to be sarcastic - that's his schtick. But he was so nasty and mean to specific people in the audience. Like a reverse heckler. I didn't like that at all. And then we went and saw Wayne Newton's show. Soothed me right down, LOL.

Jim Carey. Can't stand him or most of his movies. He acts the exact same way in every movie, and those stupid faces are not funny, the very first time, maybe but not when you do it constantly.

Me too Moni! I saw Gallagher in Vegas! He smashed a watermelon, we were in the front row holding up a sheet of plastic. Fun! Carrot Top was fun too...

Nobody can make me laugh like Craig Ferguson and Bob Newhart can. I don't like Craig's stand-up acts particularly, but I loved him as a talk show host. I hate sitcoms with their phony laugh track and mean-spirited "humor."

I love Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. They both crack me up.

Stand up comedy is a class in itself. Rarely have I seen an act I did not find offensive. They are easier to stomach on TV--when you don't have to sit near other people, other people KNOWING you too are watching this usually lewd, mean, diatribe disguising itself as entertainment. So and so the Cable Guy is humorous. Many of these stand up sorts are easier to watch when they are "acting". Until now their brand of comedy has to be cleaned up for "general audiences" and I usually find them much more funny in this venue. I guess it is difficult to find humor in life without being rude and crude. Check out Tim Hawkins on Youtube. He is always easy and good for a chuckle.

The Joan Rivers-Don Rickles style wasn't offensive to me, just not funny.
