Bought today, lost tag, I forget what I bought!
Comments (10)Looks like oregano (Origanum vulgare) to me. And if it was a local plant/herb sale, it is probably oregano not marjoram since the local plant sales are usually full of garden surplus and I do not believe marjoram would be hardy in your location. Comments (28)schoolhouse - Roomba does his thing around furniture or under it it it's raised high enough....think dust bunnies under the bedframe...oh yeah. Around the living room couch, he'll run a line along the couch and hugs it; still some attention is necessary just under the couch where the Roomba doesn't quite reach with his rotating arm. A Roomba (for me at least) isn't a complete replacement of a regular vac., but it keeps the "core" of the room clean and because it's clean, the edges seem to need less of attention too. Some areas that get missed - 90 degree corners don't get Roomba love. Chairs that have too narrow of a base, but ours can usually get in between the legs. Fringe on throw rugs can be a challenge, so those you would need to take up, but ones without fringe are usually not a problem. Our hearth isn't raised for the fireplace and has only a small strip between the hardwood and the slate and I don't really like him getting into the fireplace, so I'll usually set the little "rope off" area that comes with him to keep him from venturing over there and then just supervise him for a few places where I know he tends to get in trouble. Oh, and one of my Roomba's favorite tricks of all is to hide from me right in the middle under the king sized bed (if his battery dies before he's all done)...See MoreQuick question: Best iRobot Roomba Models!
Comments (26)I know this is an older post but my search didn’t unearth a newer one, I love my Roomba iRobot but we have a black area rug and it won’t go on it. Does anyone know how to get it to go on the rug? If not, This isn’t a huge deal because the majority of our house is hardwood or tile and , being older and with some arthritis, it’s worth the purchase price just to get the areas cleaned under the beds and .other places where I’d have to bend or reach too far. Also, do,I have to use the app? I like to manually put it in a room, close the door and let it clean the room. For instance , the guest room, which stays clean in between guests, and which I do clean regularly ( dust the bureaus, polish window glass, etc) but I like to freshen up before guests arrive. How do I do this without messing up the app or machine.? I’m new to the whole iRobot thing....See Moreravencajun Zone 8b TX
