Comments (7)Today because of a predicted freeze tonight, I had to pick everything in the garden, including the winter squash. All these were from one massive plant. 9 years agoIn Florida where I live, there are no trees that change color. Live oaks, camphor trees, long-needle pines. They just are there.
However, these are on the east side of the house and are putting on their own show.

Our high bush cranberry is one of the last to lose its leaves. I like the green and red. With a background of white snow which we had but has since melted it reminds me of the upcoming season.
