Comments (3)I had this same question and from what i can tell, the closet BM match is Hemp Seed (98% match)...but then i found out this color is available in Canada only. The closest US match is Crisp Khaki (93% match). I ended up ordering RH latte online. My experience with color matching at my local BM stores has been terrible. tanya...See MoreDoes anyone know the Anderson window Birch Bark paint color?
Comments (19)Karen, i wasn't sure whether you wanted a closeup of the trim or a larger picture. The top photo is my kitchen; cabinets, trim and windows are all the same color. My dining room has the windows and all the trim the same color. The last picture is a closeup of the trim, but because of the contrast between the indoors and outdoors, my iPad doesn’t capture it very well. (Actually, none of the pictures capture the rooms very well). In any case, we are very happy with our choice, but honestly, my bedroom and bathroom have White Diamond trim and cabinetry and although it doesn’t match the windows as well, I never even notice it. So if you prefer another white shade, I would t worry about it matching perfectly....See MoreDoes anyone know how to match the finish of a Kraftmaid cabinet face?
Comments (5)You’ve probably already sanded it too smooth to accept the stain properly. That closes the pores. The factory spray applies with an air assist airless. It’s not a wiping stain. Varathane is not a cabinet finish, and should never touch cabinet quality wood. No cabinet company uses that low quality. They use conversion varnishes. This type of controlled application finish just is not possible without a great deal of equipment, investment in specialty product, experience. The mistakes will cost you more than buying what you need from the cabinet company. Unless you just like to keep buying cherry, and buying tools, and gaining experience from those fails, you need to just contact the cabinet company and get your pieces and move on....See MoreNWalton (Zone 6a)
