After seeing previous pics of camouflaged octopodes, I'd say there's probably one there, but I have no idea where!

There is a texture difference at the bottom, just right of center. I was looking for the crab from the previous photo, but just cannot see it. Maybe, just maybe, there is a hydraulic lift to bring up a tree with a leopard on the top.

jim, I think you're onto something--maybe a crab under the sand, or maybe just the power of suggestion.

Hint: It's not a crab.

Hint: Look for it's right eye.

I wish we could tell what the substrate is and a size relationship. Is that under water? Directly above the crab back it looks like a protruding eyeball. Like a frog or lizard type critter.

Yes, it's under water.

It's a cuttlefish.

The box is drawn around the cuttlefish and the arrow is pointing at its right eye.

They are capable of doing the most incredible camouflage and color changes.

Never would have found it. That video is amazing, especially that they change not only their coloration, but also shape and texture.

Those are the eyes I was seeing there but had no idea what they belonged to.

Wow, sometimes I amaze myself! That is the 2nd eye I found, but couldn't figure out what it might be. The first thing I found is directly below the right corner of the box, on the bottom edge of the picture. Smooth green, I thought perhaps a frog or reptile of some sort.
