What are the interior details like? Baseboards, interior doors, cabinetry, etc? Do you have anything you are planning to use? Existing furniture? Or art? Favorite inspiration rooms you have saved?

Based on the outside, I think you could go in a variety of directions, including cottage.

I'd probably call it "ranch-style".

The interior doors are arched instead of square. I really don't have much that I've saved and I'm putting my old furniture down in the basement as I want to be able to choose what I like. I'm adding a couple of pictures of the interior.

With this style you can probably do whatever fits your personality and lifestyle best, except for very modern, which would not fit with the architectural features, especially the fireplace. I would look for inspiration in magazines and on-line and pinpoint the decor and colors that make you happiest, and then go from there. As you go along, there are lots of people here who would love to help you.

Really pretty! I agree you have a lot of flexibility. Traditional, cottage, almost anything except ultra-modern. I also agree to look for inspiration online and in magazines.

I'd also consider taking cues from the location, both immediate (woods, beach, farm, city, etc) and more general (south, west, etc). Then I would probably decide on my biggest budget item--rug, art, etc--and start there.

Pretty house, but IMO, shutters are what's needed to really give it a French Country sort of look. As for the interior, I think it's pretty open on how you could decorate, but can't see MCM or contemporary.

I would also consider the geographical region.

About the only styles that might look odd would be extreme modern, overly rococo French (think Versailles), Screamingly 1930s Art Deco, or extreme rustic (think Cabela's stores).

That leaves a wide range of styles, or blend of styles.

It will have shutters, they are not on the house yet.

You want your home to reflect your taste and things you enjoy. It will work. I agree with earlier posts...cottage, traditional, or modern farmhouse. Cute, cute, cute.

Yeah, the middle is my favorite too mostly I think because of the color palate (which is one of my favorites) and how the room has a very upbeat happy but still quiet feel to it. I agree with Christy, the style of your home is really secondary. The only time I have ever really truly loved my home is now and that's because my husband and I only chose furniture, colors and slowly wall art that appeals to us regardless of what others might think.

I would do a casual comfy transitional style.
