Survivor-If you watched it
Comments (37)Special Agent is a very broad term. It applies to anyone working for a Federal Government agency who has the people to arrest those who are in violation of his agencies area of investigation or concern. A food inspector may be a federal agent. Like the guy who comes around looking for roaches in the local diner's kitchen. I had an Indian friend who could carry the title and be armed because he was a liaison for his tribe and the US government. Anyone who is employed in federal intelligence is a Secret Agent. In Philips case I believe he sat behind a 'puter doing employee background check. That would make him a "secret" agent but in a broad use of the term. LOL Phillip is using the term and making waves with it because most people envision James Bond when they hear the term. LOL...See MoreSooo what did you think? Survivor
Comments (22)I FINALLY got to watch it online this morning. (We got home from our trip last night at almost midnight). Philip didn't bother me at first the last time, but he really got on my nerves after awhile. The pink "tightie whities" are so offensive I can't stand it. And in his first season he just had to play the race card which I despised. And I can't stand the bullying crap. Cochran is all that. I give him all sorts of props for trying it again. If ever there was a person completely inept for survivor it's him, and yet he came back to try again. I still like Malcolm and I like Erik. Not much to see or like on the fans tribe. Can not stomach the "cool kids" that fireman thinks he's special. Ugh, I hate cocky smart ass people. The Marine? Seriously, he's a Marine? Could have fooled me. Lazy @ss. Two of my brothers were Marines. A Marine doesn't sit there and watch everyone else work, no way, no how! First impression of the bearded guy....I liked him. And the couple girls on the beach seemed o.k. They should get rid of Andrea, and the little girl with the long dark hair. They both flirted and schemed, dangerous combination. For now I'm Team Favorites!...See MoreSurvivor? What do you think? spoilers
Comments (17)I don't think that was a very smart move on the Heros part to vote off Tom, a real strong player. We will see if James recovers enough to do good in challenges. Heros just can not do puzzles, it is too bad. I am looking forward to the match-up between Boston Rob and Russell, I really hope Boston Rob stays in the game longer, he is a good leader for them. Will be really curious to see who gets voted off next on the villians. I am tired of Courtney and Sandra almost always sitting out of the challenges, enough of that already. I think they need to change the rules that you can not sit out of challenges not just back to back in the same episode but back to back to back in different episodes....See MoreWhat, no Survivor thread? (Spoilers if you DVRd it)
Comments (12)Sushipup, I watched it, on your recommendation, but the only thing that stood out was the impetus for going straight to the elimination from the challenge. Is there something in particular you were pointing out? I have to admit, I don't remember half of these people, and half of the ones I do remember, I recognize, but would not have remembered if they weren't on screen. I guess I find the game overall more interesting than the people, who, for the most part, seem to be interchangeable puppets, typecast from the casting manual. :) It's a lot like watching one of those banned psych experiments, with palm trees. :) When I was looking for a list of participants, I found another blog where the writer was at the site while they were filming or something. He interviewed Vytas, who said that the whole creepy yoga thing happened when he was asked to help one of the girls who had a bad back. I seem to remember that he's a long time professional yoga instructor, so that makes sense. The blog also said that Peih-Gee sewd a flint into her outfit as a decorative element, got all the way out there, but when she went to use it that first day, the production crew stopped her and confiscated it....See More- 10 years ago
