Comments (20)Always loved the parkway. It was such a good place to get all my phone calls done, being I didn't have to watch where I was going......AT AN IDLE!! :-) I used to live just off of it.... literally-- I lived in a house right at the end of the southbound exit ramp on Wheelers Farms Road in Milford, going back about 20 years ago!! :-) It was a terrific place to live-- Some people have to worry about vibration from passing trains. me, I had to worry about the shaking from CH-53 Helicoptors flying over from across the river at Sikorski while training pilots!! (for those who don't know, those are the helos that you see carrying TANKS)...See MoreMarble tile discoloration in shower
Comments (69)Uh oh! We just put in a marble hex floor on our small shower in the powder room. But we used crema marfil, though I'm sure it has the same problems. The door was just installed and we still need to have the room painted and so haven't used the shower yet. It would only get limited use because hubby showers in there on very early golf days once or twice a week so he doesn't wake me up. Very considerate : ) Hopefully with limited use this doesn't happen but I have no idea and am now a bit worried. Charlesg270, any update? Have you used your shower yet?...See MoreProblem with doorless (open) shower
Comments (24)Bituthene is a waterproofing barrier product (typically construction exterior use) but not typically associated with showers from what I know, as there are easier, better products out there specifically designed for showers. And with no preslope to the pan your going to have issues with these forever unfortunately. Not going to be a matter of if you redo them but when.............................See MoreShower Leak, Desperate to find the Source
Comments (28)@3onthetree Thank you for your great detailed answer. The tub is actually is my second bathroom. I got worried for a second thinking it’s the neighbour’s tub but it’s actually the second bathroom in my condo lol I actually changed the tub spout diverter thinking that might be the reason for the leak. I had the plumber install a new diverter thinking the old one is causing the leak but that did not solve the issue. Another test I did which eliminates diverter as an issue is when I keep the water running from the tub spout diverter even for an hour there is no water leaking. Pointing the shower head at inside right corner seems to cause more water seeping through compared to pointing it at the middle or more towards the shower glass which is very odd. I have clear caulking around the tub spout diverter. I have re-caulked that area few times but yet I’m getting water seeping through. I will do the water test that you mentioned with the stick and report back. Meanwhile I attached more pictures which show where the water is leaking from and also from inside the tub. https://imgur.com/a/swNFjTv I also decided to order a camera stick from amazon so i can take a video with my flash from where i had water pooling in back to see if i can find anything. I will report back....See Moreroarah
