What kind of pot is it planted in? Does it have adequate drainage? These plants are succulents and don't like being saturated. This may have led to the roots being rotted away, leaving it with no viable way to take up water. Causing the leaves to begin dying back. These plants need a pot that drains water sufficiently, as well as a soil mix that doesn't hold on to a lot of water and quickly drains away any excess water. If it were my plant, I'd unpot it and check the roots. I would trim away any sections that may have rotted and then replant it into a much better pot with better drainage. The Miracle Gro soil for Cacti & Succulents would work great for this plant.

Larry - I know :( but they were small pups that had never seen the light of day - crispy with dead roots, and where they weren't crispy they were a sick yellow. Yep, trash. vitorama - I must defend myself here lol, I am not the one who put them outside in full sun! That was the friend who I gave them to. She sent me that pic, saying she wasn't sure they were going to make it. And thanks! Been waiting to use that orange pot, I think it looks great with the happy little Sans in it :)

It wasn't the Sevin or too little water. Without more info can't help. But can say for certain that if the tree losses all it's leaves this time of yr it will be dead. If you have poor drainage plant on a mound next time.
