Quick help with invite wording

I am so bad at this - I never entertain and I know many of you are experts.

I'm helping to organize a gathering of the parents in my daughter's grade (it's their graduating year). We are having it at a local sushi restaurant. It will be hors d'oeuvres (rather than a meal) and some bottles of bubbly. It seems weird to call them hors d'oeuvres at a sushi restaurant. If I say, "We hope you can join us for some light bites and bubbly to toast friends
and futures." would you understand it's hors d'oeuvres? Does that wording sound okay to you?
