Can I mix polished brass with dull or vintage brass?

We're about to start a total kitchen reno. I love polished brass for faucets, cabinet knobs and light fixtures. Its a re-emerging trend but it also suits our traditional home which is 90 years old and has a lot of original brass doorknobs.

I've been looking far and wide for a polished brass chandelier with a "wow" factor and have been unimpressed with the average ones available. I have found some beautiful fixtures with more of a dull brass finish and I'm wondering if its OK to mix the textures. Bright polished brass faucet and cabinet knobs with dull brass chandelier?

I hope so! I am mixing different brass finishes throughout our home. For example- here's our lighting.

    and faucet-

Door levers are an antique brass/bronze. Next up- cabinet hardware!
