Flush Mount Lighting and Bulbs

My home has quite a few flush mount light fixtures, the ones that look like the capitol dome upside down mounted to the ceiling :) Twist the cap to remove the glass dome and access the bulbs.

In cleaning up the house for sale, I've notice that many of these have CFL bulbs in them. Is this a BAD thing for a sealed light? Some of the bulbs looks to have yellowness on the base of them.

What's a good option for bulbs in these fixtures? I don't want to spend to much, but might be nice to say in selling I have all LED Bulbs or such. Anyone seen the Home Depot GE Light Sticks? For 3 for $7.97 I thought 3 of those in each fixture might do a nice job.
