Rubber Tree Burgundy leaves turning rough and scratched but no wilting

User

Hello,

long time listener, first time caller!

Perhaps I still haven't uncovered the right phrase for this yet but I haven't been able to find any similar photos / symptoms for what's happening here!

The leaves have been starting to look like I took sand paper to them. Grainy, rough, no longer smooth. They're not turning yellow or wilting and they're all mostly propped up.

The plant dealt with some pretty bad mites earlier in the year. It lost a lot of leaves and I ended up repotted a few months ago. I did not cut any roots, just dumped all the old soil. Mites are gone!

I live in a north facing apartment that doesn't get direct sunlight. So, to kickstart growth, I got a 24watt LED that I use during the day about 2 ft away from the top. It has helped TREMENDOUSLY. I got 3/4 new leaves this past week!

The old leaves however aren't looking great. See below.

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you
