Need help IDing this guy please :)

I received this crazy looking plant as a birthday gift last month and I've been searching for information on this guy for awhile now and still can't find anything that looks close :/ I hope you guys can help me out...I'd love to learn more about this guy :D Thanks ahead of time everyone!!

The leaves are shiny, thick and green and they kinda fold into each other and grow into vine-like arms like donkey tails...

Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thank you!! :)

I was kind of suspicious of that, Gldno, since not only are there clumps of rose campion in her garden but also along a lonnnng section of fence. I knew surely she didn't BUY all those plants, lol.

Yes, it is sepoervivum, and in great need of much better light - that is main reason you didn't think it compared to the photos. Hardy succulent, does best outdoors (whole year round, unless you are in zone colder than z3, or extremely hot - they don't like much humidity and very high temps).

Hi ariel7576! Thank you soooo much! You ID'd it and I just googled Amaryllis 'Eyecatcher' and it was exactly the one I saw at the shop! I am going to look for some bulbs and grow some myself! Thank you again :)

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Hoyas -- this is a Hoya compacta, commonly called Rope Hoya.

Likes lots of bright light, also some sun. I currently have 2 pots of it growing in my west windows. These days, I water mine about once a week to every 10 days or so.

If you'd like to read further come on over to the Hoya Forum (see top of page showing other forums) & search / read for more Hoya compacta info.

Fun plant, enjoy (just keep your eye out for white cottony-looking fluff which would be mealy bugs who love to hide in all those nooks & crannies).

Looks pretty healthy too.
