Streets of Gold anyone?
Comments (3)Hostaholic2, I know that feeling, but there is not much choice on GWeb. You only stay at the top of the forum when there is no response, and you are looking for a positive one. It is a nerve-wracking game to wait, not knowing the tipping point when you just might get your information. Being new here I did not want to break this forum's protocol. Thankfully a knowledgeable member stepped in. I have a hosta I'm looking for, only saw the picture in the HostaLibrary 2007 archive. It is Beulah. No other information except the photo. I'll have to take one of my hosta SEEDS (yes I now have some of those flimsy little things from Brother Stefan), raise some up and pick one to name Beulah B.... I think that is the way to do it. Just for my garden, not to sell....See MoreStreet Vibrations anyone?
Comments (1)Jenna. I am so glad you are having fun. I hope your ride down 99 is smooth and pleasant. Gamble a quarter slot for me please while you are in Vegas. Enjoy your trike conversion and make sure "hubby bubby", "Bub" looks out for you in his mirror. I give you credit for riding the highway....you must be very experienced. I am in South Florida. I am sure California is beautiful and am glad you are enjoying your trip to Bikefest and Street Vibrations. Blue...See MoreThe Wall Street Journal's idea of an eco-kitchen
Comments (3)I'm attaching a link to a LED light for undercabinet lighting that uses 1 watt (not a typo, ONE watt) of power for $26. I have no idea how this works -- whether you can just replace it in a regular undercabinet fixture or ??? and I have no idea whether the light quality is any good. (I'm not affiliated with this website at all but I've bookmarked it, along with Pegasus Lighting, as the two best places for lightbulbs and fixtures. This website also has a cool "color temperature" tool showing different kinds of lights in a kitchen.) Here is a link that might be useful: Cheap LED light strip using one watt...See MoreAnyone use StreetShoe on their floors?
Comments (2)Yes! We did our floors in our last house with this. Turned out beautiful. Supposed to be very durable and hold up excellently against water. I was told by the mill we purchased it from that it is what is used on gym floors. We got the satin finish and it was great. Won't yellow your floors like poly so if you want a natural finish you will really get a natural finish. One thing I would say, have someone who is experienced with water emulsion finish apply it because it is a different process than poly....See MoreAlisande
