Hi All,
This is my first time posting on here!
I've been searching everywhere for tubers of the dahlia "Cafe au Lait." Numerous phone calls to suppliers and nurseries have come up with nothing, all of whom aren't even aware of the existence of the variety.
Would anyone on here have any leads as to where I might be able to get these tubers? Or how to source them?

Personally I have no idea and I have no better "friend" than Google. Who have you tried so far?

Hi Irish, You'd think after having them come up for two years, I would, but no. Taking pictures and identifying my flowers wasn't something I ever thought about until just recently. I can tell you I got the tubers from my neighbor. I did find this image online. It's not mine, but that's what they look like. Here is a link that might be useful: Dahlia

Since you are in FL, your tree dahlia probably blooms; I'd love to see that. I have a very healthy lt pink, and since I am in Oregon, if the summer is nice & hot, in October it will put out 1 or 2 blooms at the very top of the plant (you need binoculars to see them). I bought mine from PD, and I love it, except I can't share tubers with friends because they are so tough and inter-grown that I can't dig them. I cut some off with a hand saw, but they did not grow.

Whoopie! Thanks so much for those nursery names. I tried the first three and got the same results I got on my own...none in stock or not shipping. But on that last one JACKPOT! They had multiple types. I'm ordering the double lavender. I live in Tampa so no problem growing them here. They did have a minimum...which first meant I had to get three plants. I was going to offer the other two for trade/sale, but then started cruising their catalog and had no problem then hitting that minimum, lol. Thanks again, Lori
