I am looking for a place to get decent plastic markers so I can keep tract of my gasterias and haws.....................I found one on amazon.net Garden Helpers H166 6-Inch Plastic Plant Labels and Plant Marker Pen, 100-Pack by Bosmere Price: $16.94 Everyone thinks they are nice and sturdy. But they don't like the marker pen that comes with them.................I also need to know of a type of pen besides sharpie that can write fine point and won't fade in the sun or whatever.......... Hiya Greg, Not sure what you were thinking but hum ... I'm a pumice girl, simply 'cause I've had access to it for a long time, but for those who don't, that's why I advocate Perlite. Drainage really matters for Haws. grown indoors, I've had mine lose roots once or twice (not this one). Above shot is the cleaned up version of this find I made at a BBS, something like $3.99 like OP's find. The actual find as I found it. Some real gems out there, if one looks closely, gets lucky & learns the delivery days of the BBS. Then one can get there fast enough before they incur bad care. Sorry Nancy (OP), I don't know much about crests of that. I've seen crested Ech. & Aeoniums, not so much of Sedum or Grapto. 'Rare' I think is often overused online, more like a marketing ploy, to try & sucker folks in that the plant is something distinct & unique.

yes, it gets full sun. Not had a problem with any varigated aloes in full sun except for those species that don't like full sun anyway. I did have one beautiful specimen that was nearly white that did get a tiny bit of leaf tip necrosis on super hot days... but thse are surprising tolerant of sunshine.
