Hello everyone, I am growing Ugu in lahnam, Maryland, USA. it has not seeded yet but I can help you with Ugu seeds if i can get more than one person interested. I do obtain ugu seeds from Nigeria, Pls email me at stopinusa@gmail. I can help you with how to grow it. I did a test run and it took quite a few dying to learn proper way of growing Ugu. I have Okra seeds, Ugbogburo seeds, green seeds, garden egg seeds for now. I am proud of everyone trying to grow their own food or venturing into agriculture for business.

Really you just need to google "pepper mash" or "fresh chilis" or something similiar, there are many many places that sell fresh, frozen, or fermented mashes. Cross country nursery sells fresh pods in the fall, Jim at Mild to Wild sells tubs of pure mash, Pedilogues sells mash, there are some people on ebay that sell mash, you can get fresh or smoked/peeled numex styles from various places in new mexico in the fall, etc. I am sure there are lots more places I am not thinking about that other people will chime in about. kendra

I thought I'd add a comment even though it's been three months since the last update. I don't usually look at the TN gardening forum, but I'm not that far away in the SW corner of VA and I visit Oak Ridge from time to time (grew up there). I've been growing several paw paw cultivars for a while now and I agree with everything Brandon says except one. There are people who really don't like the taste. The negative comments have been "tastes like overripe banana" or something to that effect (it doesn't taste anything like banana to me). I have no personal experience with Integration Acres but have seen others comment positively about paw paws bought from them. Otherwise the best bet is to find a paw paw fan and let him/her give you a "certified" good one. Farmer's markets may be hit or miss. I got some good ones many years ago at one after asking around if anyone knew where I could buy some. No one was selling them, but one woman brought me some the next week. I've seen some sold at the farmer's market in Abingdon, VA but they were small and black--ones I'd throw away. Even at the paw paw festival in Winston-Salem, NC last August, one of the vendors was selling way over ripe paw paws and they would be a bad representation of how a good paw paw tastes. By the way, the UT arboretum in Oak Ridge has some paw paw trees that I saw fruit on several years ago but couldn't know if they were any good since it was too early. Most of the wild paw paws I've encountered are small, seedy and are of mediocre flavor or have some bitter aftertaste, but here and there you will find keepers. I should note that most of the commercially available cultivars are selections from the wild or at most one or two generations removed.

I think the original Tide/bleach boost pods were discontinued in 2012.perhaps if Tideman sees this he can straighten it out. But remember P$G has had a lot of *originals* lol Take Tide for example, many folks here refer to lets call it **Larsi's Tide* LOL as being the original scent Tide, but there was another original Tide scent, up until the early, (I think 1972) when P$G got it in their heads to reformat Tide and changed its original scent to Larsi's original Scent Tide. I'm sure there are a few of us on this board that can remember the awesome and wonderful scent of the #1 original scent of Tide. This probably has to do with ones age, in my age group the original scented Tide was taken from me in the 70's...some of you younger ones will remember Larsi's Tide as being the original. So where was I going with these thoughts...I haven't the foggiest..LOL
