Hi have you thought of keeping a log on the effectiveness of moving particularly frequently?? I grow mostly epiphytes and then mostly orchids . Almost all will grow in very dense shade in fact frequently better . What they don't do is flower well.lol Too much sun and they at least stress at worst sunburn. I keep a log as each plant goes into it's flowering period. How many flowers nd particularly what quality was produced in a given amount of foot candles. I have generally found moving them is counter productive they adapt to certain amounts of light so I never move more than twice a year. A log will give you a lot of info on what works. Even full sun plants that have been grown in shade will often croak when moved suddenly in full sun. I think the magic number is around 3 weeks of steadily increasing light before full exposure. I've seen some bees, but I've never really noticed bees at this time of year in past years. I've heard that there's some sort of disease ruining their nests. Whatever is happening, I'm hoping the bees will stay because more bees = more fruits/seeds (more pollination). From what I've been told, worms will rapidly produce eggs when they feel that their lives are threatened as to keep their 'lineage' going. Praying and hoping the weather won't be too out of the ordinary. I've seed lots of birds this year...and am having regular visits from bunnies (at first they ate my tulips but now they leave even my seedlings alone and go for the weeds in the lawn instead). I have noticed lots of winged insects (flies, bees, wasps) that are flying. I saw a wasp on my iris, and wanted to sho it away so I could cut the iris, but it didn't move. It sort of eventually rolled off the flower onto the ground. Yes lots of bird eggs all over the place...I see lots of them crushed. I have an unknown white egg sitting next to my pumpkin plants but haven't touched it.

Hi jaqola. You must have an asian variety of wisteria, which can take up to 15-20 years before they will bloom sometimes. I have some asian wisteria that have survived my winters, but they have serious die-back most years, and really haven't bloomed yet for me even though I have had them for at least 15 years. The 'Blue Moon' wisteria that I purchased as one gallon plants had flowers on them when I bought them. 'Blue Moon' blooms on new wood, so they ALWAYS bloom every year, and have no die back. Some American varieties don't have the best fragrance, but 'Blue Moon's fragrance is quite pleasant, even though it is not as sweet as it's asian cousins.
