~HOW THE GAME WILL BE PLAYED

~When you choose a box please use the box number (#)

~There will be 3 (three) rounds or whenever the last box has been chosen, which ever comes first:

*The first person, #1, chooses a box.

*The second person, #2, either chooses a box or steals

#1's box. (If #1's box is stolen they get to choose

again but they can not steal the box back.)

*The third person, #3, chooses a box or steals a box.

*The game will continue this way until the last person has chosen.

EXCEPTIONS-You may not steal back a box from the person who stole it from you.

You may steal that same box if someone else steals it from the person who stole it from you.

Once a box has been possessed by one player 3 (three) times it becomes frozen for the remainder of the game.

If anyone has questions please don't hesitate to ask...I'm new at this myself.

THE REST OF THE RULES

1. Your box must be mailed out no later than 7 days after the game is finished.

2. Boxes must be mailed Priority with a Delivery Confirmation #.

3. You must post the Delivery Confirmation # when you sent your box.

4. If you are new to Petal Pushers you must send your box first.

5. All GW rules apply.

6. You may NOT swap out/or exchange any of the 5 plants you listed as the contents of your box. If there is a serious problem contact me.

7. We all need to check the thread out daily to see when our turn comes up. If anyone is absent for 3 days in a row we'll have to continue without you. You can then choose when your turn comes up again.

Sorry guys. My ISP was supposed to be down for 2 hours yesterday to make some "upgrades." Apparently they upgraded all day long because I did not get service back until today.
If it is truly my turn, I choose box 4 if it is not frozen. I could not figure out who has it.

That's so funny! That time I thought you were just being silly! Good news at the dentist always makes for a better day! Yay! Lisa - I'm so sorry that I've been remiss in taking time to post on the board that I received my prize package from you. I sent you an e-mail when it arrived on Monday. I hope you received it. To everyone else - Lisa sent me the nicest box of prizes from last month's games. For some game when I was the next person to post (it seems like we were waiting for Tracy to materialize but I don't remember why) she sent me some nice gloves and plant markers. For finding that tiny Christmas tree, thereby putting an end to her 'I Spy' game, she sent me a plant off of my want list. She chose to give me Phlox 'Orange Perfection'. I was very excited to get this, as I've never seen it in my area. And, just because she's so sweet, Lisa sent me another start from Larry's iris collection! I'm a lucky girl!

I just missed you in the chat last night, I had to run and get Jamie something for a toothache, too stubborn to go to the dentist! I can't believe I put my name on the seeds! I tried so hard to keep it anonymous! And (even though it might have been a little mean) I knew you would have a hard time figuring it out because you have been gone! I've put together an army, just incase anyone gets any ideas about stealing my box! We've been working hard, training and all, and I do believe they are ready. They are also out protecting my gardens.

Where is everyone??? Hopefully everyone is having nice sunny weather, and are out enjoying their gardens!

The other night I saw a SKUNK run from my flower bed to my neighbors yard. Now I'm afraid to be out in the yard when it gets dark! I never did get my one flower bed weeded during my 'vacation'. Shame on me! Back in early July I made an order from G.H. Wilde & Son and it is suppose to ship this month. I wish I'd hear something. I ordered Hosta 'Princess Anastasia' and 'Dancing in the Rain'. I also ordered Daylily's 'New Quest' and 'American Revolution', and Asiatic Lilies 'Mango' and 'Coral Sunset'. With the temps cooling down at night, I'd really like to get them all planted.

I'll check back a bit later!

Not much action going on here. Things have slowed down again. I have been checking in regularly to make sure I don't hold up anyone. I am going to be gone all day on sunday to an out of town labor day picnic but I will try and check in at least a couple of times during the day.

Karen, those squirrel crack me up. I can symapthize with the skunk issue. We had one sniffing around here on a regular basis a few years ago right before we were hosting a big family party. I was really worried that it would hang out under somebody's car when they were getting ready to leave late that night and spray them. I hosed the yard down with some deer off just to make myself feel better. No incidents so I think it helped. I need to go look up your plants that you ordered. I bet they're all gorgeous. I did get Dancing in the Rain and love it!

Hey Lisa! What have you been up to? You've been so quiet! How is the hubby? Is he all recovered from the Lyme disease? I took pictures of Remember Me the other day. I need to upload them and put them on the picture thread. Hopefully tomorrow.

Karen-I received a gift certificate for G.H. Wilde & Son when I was in the Birthday Bash. I ordered 6 DL's but only received 4. Two of them were out of stock. I was really disappointed because one of them I really wanted. They gave me a credit so I can try again next year. Once I placed the order the DL's arrived in about 2 weeks.

I went out to do some much needed work in my flower bed, and found a snake. That was it for me. I tip toed out of there backwards and headed for the house. I wish I wasn't such a chicken $#*&! lol I brought my 8yr old son up there to see if he could find it (he likes snakes and catches them... the horror) but it was no where for him to see and I wasn't stepping foot back in there. Sooooo, its back in the house.

Well I see things are moving right along here. Lots of stealing going on! Love it!

I'm going to be in and out today. We are going to a Super WalMart in PA. Although we have a WalMart about 2 miles from us they don't sell meat and only a small amount of food. Something about NJ and the meat packing industry union. Considering the economy there is a lot of building around here. A new huge WalMart about 10 miles or less away, plus a new Lowe's which is down the highway from Home Depot. Don't know how they do it.

Hey all, hope everyone is having a great Sunday.

Mariann, they're building a new Walmart by us too. They used to be so far apart and now we have 3 different stores within 3 miles of me in 3 different directions. 2 of them are Super Walmarts.

Mornin Vic, I haven't heard from Annie in a long while. I hope she isn't working too hard. Maybe she is getting that huge iris order planted in the ground. I haven't seen hide nor hair of Wendy either. Hope she's doing ok too.

Alana, have a fun party today. Don't work too hard!

A little change of pace here. This tag is one of my PSP lessons that I just turned in. The woman in the tag is actually my baby sister. I made it smaller so that it wouldn't take up the entire page.LOL

The program is Paint Shop Pro 9. But you can bring any graphics into the program including photos. The picture of my sis was rectangular and I misted it. All the edges are gone. We haven't learned misting yet but I was able to find a tutorial on the web. This is my sister that has MS. She's in a wheel chair now. Fortunately we all got lucky in the looks department.LOL

I'm going to start a new thread in a little while.
