In the magazine "The Quilter" Nov., 2006 issue, there is a picture of "Bear on the Trail" by Carol Fogg of Lake Orange, NY- Viewer's Choice. I've been saving an 8 x 10 glossy print all these years. The internet has grown and there is more information on everything and about everything. Back then, there was no mention of "Shakespeare jn the Park". Today I did email Janet Fogg regarding a pattern for her "Bear of the Trail" quilt. But, thank you all on this site for your advice about Judy Martin's "Creative Pattern Book", which I ordered from Amazon.com.

I am not sure of the name of the pattern but the only challenge would be the partial seams that are necessary for the construction. It appears that the rectangle blocks are bordered on the long sides with a 1 1/2 strip of black. The square size is the width of the rectangle. I am not sure that all the rec, have equal strip borders. There seem to be 1 1/2 setting strips between the blocks. I am sure others will have better inf. but that is my take from the picture.
