Comments (2)I was not the one that posted pictures but I do make them. I use a simple top and bottom pattern. I usually make the bottom out of fleece, flannel or thermal type knits. Sometimes I buy a t-ahirt that matches the bottom. My grandson loves them. I make the top out of flannel to match sometimes. I found the cutiest prints in the thermal knit. One was blue with greem alligators on it and the other one was navy with red lobsters printed. My grandson loved them. I watch the red tag fabrics in our Joanns fabric store. The girl pj's I make are made from mens ( or boys ) white t shirts and white boxer shorts. I add eyelet to the bottom of the sleeves and the bottom of the shirt. Also sew eyelet to the bottom of the boxers. I sew the flap shut on the boxers and add small bows or buttons to the flap. I have also sewn a piece of eyelet in the flap.. I applique something on the shirt and a smaller version on the leg of the boxers.. I have even put their name running lengthwise on the shirt. I think I have made every college in Indiana. I can't begin to tell you how many I made.. I bought plain small paper bags with the handles and added the same thing that I put on the pj's and gave many of them as gifts. I made one for a small girl with three ice cream cones across the front. One chocolate, one strawberry and one mint looking. The cones were a tan small print. If I remember she was to small for the boxers so I made a nightshirt from the t shirt.. I put little bows on the sleeves.. Hope this has helped.... Susie...See MoreUpdate on Susie53
Comments (12)sue_va, this came on all of a sudden. They did a CTScan and it came back good. Then they did a bone marrow test and we don't have all the results back yet. They did a EKG and there is a heart problem. They say I need a pacemaker. I go see the pacemaker Doctor on Friday. I will know more then. They say my white count is low so they are trying to figure this out. The hematologist (sp) said sometimes when you have chemo it distroyes the white cells. This is his guess. There is no fix for that. I am rarely ever sick and when I am I recover quickly. So I guess we will see on Friday. Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers....See MoreSusie53 update.
