Vitamin e has helped me. Black Cohosh and some of the other natural stuff didn't do a thing. I also like Carlson Key-E suppositories. They have vitamin e and help with dryness. If worse comes to worse, you can ask you doctor about Premarin Cream. Not the hormone replacement, too risky, but the cream. It can help tame some of those hot flashes.

About 3 months ago my doctor prescribed Effexor for me. It's apparently a drug for depression and anxiety but was found to help with hot flashes in smaller doses. I take 37.5 mg at night before I go to bed and after about 3 days the hot flashes and night sweats all but stopped. I have had about 3 or 4 "mini flashes" but nothing at all compared to what I was feeling before! I have also suffered off and on with anxiety for decades and even those have all but stopped too, even at the small dose that I'm taking. Now, that may be a coincidence but whatever it is, I'll take it! Ask your doctor about Effexor and give it a try. Can't hurt, right? Good luck!
