Raspberry low yield and crumbly fruit

After a great last year of harvesting 1 lb + of raspberries each day,
I've had almost none this year. I didn't get an early summer harvest
and the late summer harvest has been meager.

I had a few questions (pic for each one)

  1. Some
of the fruit is crumbly with only a few drupelets pollinated. I know it
can be caused by low pollination or also a disease. It's in the same area of the patch as last year. The plants look relatively healthy otherwise.

  2. The
plants at the other end of the patch have never grown to full size (4
years)...don't know if this is related. It's just the end ones. I don't
know if it is like a corn field- where the ends are all stunted.

  3. How do people keep the weeds down? I've weeded for hours and spent a ton of time/money on mulch...but they keep coming!
