Which Macrophylla are really reblooming?

I'm very new to growing my own hydrangeas. I was very excited to purchase 2 LA Dreamin hydrangeas, as I was told they are reblooming. As I've subsequently read, many of these Macrophylla which are touted as rebloomers have never reliably been shown to be so. And I also found out that LA Dreamin is not really a new variety! So my question is this (for you hydrangea experts out there ) : which Macrophylla have been reliably shown to bloom on old and new wood, either in your own garden or based on a reliable study you've read about? Thanks! By the way, I'm in zone 6b.
