A couple nurseries that I have bought from in the past weren't selling plants this year (or at least not on Thursday, when I went) and I was disappointed by that too. On the other hand, I did pick up a hydrangea petiolaris Mirranda (a variegated climbing hydrangea which looks gorgeous in the web photos) and I would have purchased a cornus alternifolia Golden Shadows if I hadn't already ordered one from the RBG Select Member sale (as the Garden Show one was much larger and almost the same price). Also, seeing the Ivory Prince Hellebore displayed at the Show (but not for sale) stimulated me to buy one at a local nursery. so...the Show still managed to introduce me to a couple interesting plants.

It sounds good to me too. sooo May 30 is it? and 10:00 am sounds good, not too late in the morning. homemommy, let us know if you find a school parking lot or someplace close to your home, where we can park the car with the plants, the last one I went to, there was 12 to 14 people. so you need lots of room. I dont like to haul all the plants too far from my car, Usually I have the plants in the ground next to my car. I have been to 3 plants swaps, and there was never any plants left over in the spot. anything that was not traded, or taken, it was just brought back home.

Sorry guys, I didn't realize what the date was! The deadline is actually this week. If you live west of Ontario, it is now too late to put your seeds in the mail. Any late-comers from Ontario and east, should be able to get their packages to me if they are in the mail by tomorrow (Tuesday) morning. ***Please let me know if you have seeds that are still on their way to me. I would hate for someone to miss out if their package is on the way. I know of two packages that are en route at the moment, and I will wait for them (and any others I am warned about) to arrive before I do the exchange. BP
