Rabbits may like crocus and miniature tulips better than they do zinnias. Rabbits can be a problem in our rural area, but I grow zinnias with no apparent damage from them. They absolutely wiped out my kohlrabi last year. And we are growing lettuce this year, and we anticipate rabbits will like the lettuce as well. We got a roll of 2-foot wide chicken wire, and plan to use that as a low fence around the lettuce and kohlrabi, with the idea that the rabbit will not jump the fence. For "posts" we plan to use short lengths of 1/2-inch rebar. We use re-bar for stakes in the garden anyway, because it won't rot and you can always drive it into hard soil like a nail, if you need to. As a reference: I'm in North Bay zone 9 and I started my broccoli and cabbage seeds in January. Planted them out on 3/1. As the weather is starting to warm right now, I'm harvesting the last of my broccoli, and the cabbage is forming heads. Cabbage is also in a spot where it gets afternoon shade just to help me out a little with any unexpected warm streaks. The timing works weather-wise, but also allows me to get a summer crop in the spot after. I'll be starting my fall crop from seed around July with the expectation to plant them out in September. Because a human being in general wants to be loved and needed. And being in a marriage makes them feel safe and secure, it's that feeling that everyone else can leave you and get mad at you but as long as you're family is there, you're good. It's a place where you're accepted and loved for what you are. Knowing that the family won't just abandon you because you made a mistake. But of course you should also try to change for the better and be the best that you can at least try. Couples should marry for the right reasons. Marriage is a commitment it's supposed to be that one other thing (other is love) that can make a person walk the extra mile for the sake of the marriage, family and love one. But now since Divorce is so easy to get Marriage has lost its meaning to most people. If it's hard to get a divorce or if there's no divorce, I think maybe almost 50% of the marriage couples had stopped first and thought what they are getting into and have tried to test the waters first like living together first. Or maybe tried to work the marriage out really hard than leave and find another one, or find another one then leave, this is the common thing nowadays they look first for a replacement then leave their spouses. I think the government should have a law that starting 2008 couples who are getting married then on should be married at least 10yrs or cannot have no divorce whatsoever. Imagine how many couples would now doubt marrying their partners (yet) or leaving their partners for another and instead work it out. By the way, I am not single and I am not in a happy marriage either. My husband is cheating on me but I am trying to be there for him because he had some insecurity issues. But now what I do is let him have it sometimes, sometimes I just go with the flow. I have 23 month old baby and also 5 months. We were married for 3 yrs but actually lived together for the last 2 1/2 yrs. I think that while I still can I will try to be there for the marriage and family.

There are many different types and brands of fertilizers. What works for some may not work for others. And the variety of seed will also be different for different people. Even for full grown plants, most horticulturalists are in agreement that commercial fertilizers should be used at half the recommended rate stated on the product. Commercial fertilizers are salt fertilizers which can burn plants when too much is used. Be cautious, it is always best to dilute commercial fertilizers, especially with seedlings. If you start with a good quality growing medium that is designed for seed starting to begin with, you shouldn't need to use any additional fertilizer at all. Fertilizers contain salts that can kill the plants you're trying to keep alive, especially if it's allowed to build up. This is because the salt absorbs water more readily than plant roots, effectively starving the grass. Salt itself can also be toxic to plant roots by causing the buildup of sodium, bicarbonate, and boron. Salt injury can cause plants to be more easily susceptible to soil-based plant diseases. Nature has been growing plants year after year - for millions of years and seasons on it's own - without the help of humans to come along and fertilize with commercial products. Have a little faith in all the hard work nature has put into creating the seed in the first place. Keep it simple and don't try too hard. If you feel you still need to use some, stick with natural fertilizers such as seaweed/kelp, fish emulsion, etc. In the end, compost (comprised from at least five different sources) is the absolute best fertilizer you can use. You can't use too much of it, it's already at the proper pH, and it's free if you make it!
