911 - Leaking PEX pipe due to drywall screw what to do?

My DH attempted to change out our shower valve and must have disturbed the PEX in the wall. I get home to water in the garaga and after cutting some drywall open and using a snake camera we found the cold supply PEX is perforated by a drywall screw in the stud right next to the plumbing fixture in the wall. I'll attempt to attach some pics. Now we've left messages with plumbers this morning, but nothing so far. We'd like to make a temporary fix so we can torn water back on in the house, but don't want to mess something up so it will be harder to fix later. We thought we could cut and cap it on the one side of the stud, but not much room to do anything on the other side. Any suggestions what would be best until we can get a plumber to fix properly.

Edit: pics are below. Not sure why I can't attach in original posts.
