Late Summer Hosta Sales

It's the time of year when many hosta sellers start to wind down their sales. I just got this year's order from Hallsons, got Bitsy Gold, Blue Jay, Electrocution, Flamenco Mouse, and Fruit Punch all on sale, as well as a couple that were regular price. As always, great size on plants and roots, shipped fast and arrived in perfect condition.

I also have an order coming from Rob Canning. Again, always great plants with great roots, and he's got stuff that's very hard to find, both the Lakesides and many others.

The Hosta Library Auction has some very nice plants right now, Naylor Creek has some listed, and Jim's Hostas (Jim Schwartz) has some hard to find streakers and others as well. If you've still got room, energy, and funds, now is a great time to add a few new ones.

These 4 are my favorite vendors, but there are others out there as well, and the late summer sales are always fun. What have you gotten for late summer planting?
