What type of succulent is this and what do I do with the babies?
Comments (3)Those look like Sempervivums, aka hens and chicks. They are extremely hardy (zone 3 at least) and should be grown outside and where they have room for the offsets (the chicks) to spread and root, creating a colony. They will also develop their proper coloring if exposed to some direct sunlight. There are several thousand named forms with a wide range of coloring. And all they need to thrive outside is well drained soil....a popular filler for rock walls but they will grow happily just about anywhere....See Morewhat type of succulent is this???
Comments (1)It’s really hard to tell because it’s been in too low of light and has become super etiolated. I’m trying to imagine what it would look like compact. I’m thinking maybe some type of Crassula. Are the leaves fuzzy?...See MoreWhat type of Succulent is this? Genus and Species needed...

Comments (4)It could be sedeveria, a cross between a sedum and an echeveria; there are many so, i could not begin to tell you which variety....See Morelmontestella
