I'd suggest checking your product specs carefully because, unless your 21" is an interior measurement, I wonder if a 19" sink would fit, even if you're prepared to cut the side of the cabinet. We had a close call on our son's vanity because we had asked our Amish cabinet maker for 22" interior width sink bases and he mistakenly made 22" wide cabinets. We fit our 17" sinks with little room to spare. One thing to consider with a 19 x 13 as compared to a 17 x 14 is where your spout will reach. You may find that the extra room you gain laterally may not compensate if the sink/faucet makes it feel shallow as you lean over the sink. Thank you all for your responses! First, the consensus seems be that chrome and stainless steel aren't an issue, particularly if there's some distance between the fixtures/appliances. Robin - Thank you for the positive feedback on my choices! I'm at that are-things-really-going-to-look-okay-in-person stage, so it's especially timely. The hood is fairly contemporary, but many of our other elements are not. I'm so anxious about seeing it all together. Robin and Jkom, I'm so surprised to hear that you didn't like the Grohe. Thank you for all the details. I'm surprised that the cold and hot indicators wore off. Frankly, that was a big selling point for me. I constantly scald myself with those faucets with all-direction volume and temperature control. I'm really questioning the Ladylux now. With everything that you said - and the well-known issues with the rubber disks deteriorating - I'm not sure it's worth the price. Robin, what faucet is going in your new kitchen, since you're not doing this one again? Beth, I thought all pull-outs didn't go back into their housings that easily? Of course, I've only been able to get my hands on showroom models... It's good to know that you've been happy otherwise. Do you have enough clearance to work the handle? Daki - Sounds like you may have purchased your Ladylux at the same time as Robin and Jkom. Interesting that it was just fine for you but troublesome for them. I wonder if Grohe had some batch control issues in the early 2000's. Confession time: I have no idea how to figure out how much clearance I have between the faucet handle and the back of the wall. We have standard 24" deep cabinets, with a sink tip-out. It looks like the faucet hole on the sink is slightly forward. I was planning to call Swanstone Monday to try to get more information. There's a window, with a protruding sill, behind the sink, too. I forgot to measure its dimensions relative to the cabinets and counters before demo. Our cabinets won't be in for another couple of weeks - I think - so I'm going to just have to wing it. By the time I could measure them, I'd already need the faucet, lol. Given that I'm not sure about clearance, I was thinking the Ladylux would be smart; since I can place the handle on either side or on the front. Jkom, I agree with you that the handle's a bit odd on the front side. Wouldn't you get your sleeves wet when turning on the water? I just got a new ruvati stainless steel sink in a 60/40 split. It took me forever to decide because I felt I had to get a large single bowl. I finally chose what I felt I would like the most and I love it. I've had it three weeks and am so happy with it. I have two friends that each redid their kitchens and got single bowls and regret it so not everyone dislikes the double bowl sink. I'd never want a 50-50 double but the 60-40 meets.all my needs.

Stacy, I have the Akurum line which had the split top drawer standard. It can be done by mounting a divider to attach the rails to. That is how I do the individual trash pullouts under the sink (see the under sink photo I posted earlier) . I dont necessarily think split drawers are an advantage because you lose about 3 1/2” storage. I like the off-white Bodbyn. It’s not yellow in my kitchen which does have warm lighting @ 3000K and lots of wood which causes it to photograph with a yellowish cast. Look back at my daughter’s kitchen to see how the Bodbyn looks next to bright white subway tile. She has warm lighting too. Also, Ikea has a new door, Akstad that is bright white. Hope you find something you like.
