Drawer inserts...
Comments (7)I'm planning on using the Lee Valley clips and wood strips. Bob_cville, Lowspark, and Loves2cookfor6 over the years have posted their organized drawers using this system. A quick google lead me to this thread, but there are many others with more pics and instructions if you look around. They take a little work as its not a pre-formed tray you plop in, but looks well worth the effort. Now if only I could find the right way to spring it on DH that he'll need to spend hours helping me with this project.... :) Here is a link that might be useful: Some pics of organized drawers with Lee Valley system...See MoreCooking Utensil Storage Questions
Comments (3)My range is in the island too. I have a jar for utensils, matching salt & pepper shakers, a plant and a lamp all in a bunch to the right side. I like it, and think it looks pretty. I do however, also have 2 drawers that I keep utensils in. They're all laid out nicely on that drawer liner spongy stuff - not all crammed haphazard in one drawer like in the old kitchen....See MoreKnife drawer insert - Help me find this please

You do have to be careful putting the knives away, but no more so than putting than in a counter knife block or probably even on a magnetic rack to avoid the other blades....See Moresee my Wood Hollow drawer inserts
Comments (15)I purchased these from Wood Hollow for 4 drawers, all with different layouts. I sent them drawings with all my measurements and what they shipped was dead on. Very happy with their product. One thing I wasn't aware of was that the dividers are mounted on a piece of wood. This adds to the overall height, which resulted in some of my measuring cups not fitting in the drawer....See Moreautumn.4
