to handyman-i just leave the pots outside; we have fairly mild winters. to hostafreak: yes i am at a premium for land because i am in a townhouse complex with a small patch of space, but i use every available sq. inch lol. i envy those who can actually plan these huge gardens; i could only dream... property is a fortune up here.

I like Wheee! - if I see one I may have to add it. I like your basket of kittens too. I always see some many cute little things in pictures posted here but never when I'm out shopping. It's probably a good thing, yet another addiction I'd have to come to terms with eventually. ;)

Cicely, your Ice Age Trail is absolutely gorgeous! That's a very striking hosta and Liberty is no slouch either. Another one for the wish list :) rpwoodard - I got it last year at Rux Gardens in Waynesville NC. Someone here (I don't remember who) posted about a trip there they made and I had to go check it out for myself. I signed up for their mailing list and in the summer they started a $3.99 special on specific plants once a week and the week I saw June I went down and got a couple more of them. I ordered one from Hallson's last spring and really liked it so I had to have more. lol I think the camera may be deceiving - it's not very big but it is doing well for a 2nd year plant. It wasn't that big when I got it but it was very healthy. One of the owners of Rux Gardens recently had a stroke so I don't think they're going to be open very much this year. He's still in rehab. Newhostalady - Guardian Angel and Squash Casserole came from Hallson's. He sent wonderful size plants last year! I really like Abiqua Drinking Gourd too. Last year it looked pitiful so I'm glad to see it looking robust this year :)
