Several years ago I had an interest in "Ascii Art" and made some still images and a few "Ascii Animations" . On Friday I found an old email about a site that had a few of my animations posted, which I had long since lost. I spent the last couple of days getting the javascript working for the animations, and have them at the address below. I concur with the orange butterfly weed. Even today, when I was out looking for aphids (I discovered way too many - nuts!), I noticed that some of the plants are calling it quits even before they have completely bloomed! Rats. My neighbor has some and she has zero idea what it is and how to take care of it. It blooms like crazy. Ain't gardening fun?

Daughter delivered this neat pie box yesterday. The lid slides off and guess what was in it. A fresh wild black raspberry pie! We sampled it immediately, with ice cream of course.
