Flies and Baby fly problem due to Fish Emulsion use?

I think I've attracted flies to lay eggs due to using fish emulsion.

The babies and adults are buzzing about on my tomato plants. I have fly feces on the fruits, little flies in the air, adults flies, bees and maybe wasps on the fruits consuming the juices where the fruits are split, who knows what else they are up to. They seem to really love sun gold.

I've not seen this problem before. The tomatoes are in 15 gallon smart pots, and I've feed them twice now with Fish Emulsion which really seems to draw the flies when it's fresh and fragrant. I've not used fish emulsion like this in containers before.

Anybody face this before? How can I minimize or eradicate the bugs? I've already removed all the split fruits. I have newspapers covering the soil, maybe that negates the theory on flies laying eggs .
