This daylily started itself from a seed that fell to the ground. I believe the parents are two daylilies growing beside each other--just my speculation! I bought the older two daylilies in 1987--a few years ago I found the old catalog from Gilbert Wild and Sons.

This marmot has 5 babies. They marked the mother and one of the babies with black dye in addition to ear tags. We stopped a lady w/ a butterfly net for info., she said they track all the generations and breeding...

Jasdip - that looks yummy! Is that Pavlova? One of my favorite desserts, and I enjoy a couple of dollops of whipped cream on top of the fruit. Glenda - DH and I went on an Alaska cruise once and just loved it. Really enjoyed that we could just leave the ship once in port and explore the town, no tour guide required unless for a specific attraction.
